This policy explains what we collect and how we use it when you use TickerAtlas (the “Service”).

What we collect

  • Account data: your email address, used to sign you in. If you sign in with Google, Google also shares your name and profile photo.
  • Subscription records: your plan, its status and renewal dates.
  • Payment data: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Where you came from: the campaign tags (UTM tags) on the first link you used to reach us, if any.
  • Usage data: anonymous page views, counted without cookies.

How we use it

  • To run your account and subscription.
  • To send account and billing emails (see below).
  • To understand which pages and campaigns bring people in, so we can improve the Service.

Emails

Sign-in emails come from Clerk. Receipts and failed-payment notices come from Stripe. We do not send marketing email unless you opt in.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the providers that run the Service, under their own terms:

  • Clerk: accounts and sign-in.
  • Stripe: subscriptions and payments.
  • Neon: our Postgres database, which holds account and subscription records and first-visit campaign tags.
  • Vercel: hosting, and Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous page views.
  • Polygon.io and Financial Modeling Prep: market and fundamental data. We send them stock symbols, not your personal data.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. Our analytics are cookieless. We use no tracking or advertising cookies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. You can download your data and delete your account yourself at any time on the Account page.

Retention & security

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete your account records; Stripe may keep payment records it is required to keep by law. We apply reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
